Glam it Up

If there were ever two more hardworking and lovable designers in Second Life, it would have to be Samantha Jones and Kim Lysette from Liv-Glam. (And you too, Aisha! ♥) With the daily events they’ve got going on- from Chic La Mode, Steals&Deals, Designer Circle, Designers Showcase, Fashion Limited, Fi Fridays, Secret Wednesdays and not to mention the loads of sales and every day new releases- who can doubt that these ladies absolutely rock the fashion circuit?

I’ve seriously given up hope on ever blogging just one Liv-Glam or K Collection ensemble anymore. There are just too many great new releases each week to be able to choose just one. So, this week I’ve narrowed it down from dozens (seriously, dozens!) of new releases, to five of my top favorites. I even bribed Dwight to get in on the action. Doesn’t he look smexy?

Green With Envy

You’re from a whole other world,

a different dimension.

You open my eyes and I’m ready to go.

Lead me into the light.

I was sim hopping recently and came across INSILICO, a futuristic rpg sim. The build of this sim is off the charts, with so much detail and so expansive that it would take weeks to explore the city in length. I was checking out the rules at the landing point and I love that everything is so straightforward and easy to understand. And, you don’t even need a tag to wander around and check things out. For photographers, how great is that?

Legal Insanity has this great new halter dress out for the Dressing Room Fusion. When I saw the green and black, I knew I instantly wanted to create an outfit that was different and out of the box. I don’t usually wear too much makeup in SL, but with Cosmetic Fair having opened last week, I stopped by and scooped up this wicked green eye-shadow from Dead Apples. Black lipstick really completes an extraterrestrial inspired look.

If you haven’t been to the new Liv-Glam location on the Zenshi sim, I definitely recommend heading over there and seeing what creator Samantha Jones has been cooking up! She’s been pumping out new releases every day and at amazing prices for those of you that are both fashion and $L conscious.

In case you haven’t heard yet, every Monday and Wednesday, Liv-Glam’s Chic La Mode offers two cycles of beautiful new releases. Then on Friday, Steals & Deals sweeps in to finish up the week with crazy sales of yet more awesomeness!

I am wearing just a few of my favorite dresses from Sam’s new releases. There are really too many to even consider talking about, but I really love the innovative HUD that comes with Liv-Glam releases. Not only does it allow you to choose your size, but it also doubles as a way to change textures and/or colors, all in one!
